MENTOR OPPORTUNITIES

As a Project Step Up mentor you will have the opportunity to help families identify factors contributing to their current situation, identify goals toward financial security and overcome their individual barriers to change. You will interact with the family within a supportive relationship to promote financial stability while experiencing a meaningful volunteer opportunity.

The successful mentor will:

• Commit 1 year to Project Step Up

• Spend 4-6 hours each month interacting with assigned family

• Attend training

• Develop a supportive relationship with a family and walk beside this family as they learn new strategies for a more stable future
